In the wake of this disaster, the Aid to Afghan Children team launched a social media campaign to raise funds and provide immediate humanitarian assistance. Within a week, the campaign raised £912, which was promptly distributed by our on-the-ground team to 16 affected families in Zenda Jan District and Herat City Regional Hospital. This aid addressed their immediate needs during a critical time when many were seeking refuge outdoors or receiving medical care.
